Panorama Trail

Panorama Trail

If you’re in excellent shape, we can try to hike the Panorama Trail in Borjomi –
Kharagauli NP. The Park is located in central Georgia and is part of the lesser
Caucasus and is one of the largest in Europe – it covers more than 85,000 hectares
of native forest and sub-alpine and alpine meadows, home to rare species of flora
and fauna.
The trail is about 34 km. total to cover into two days. It’s starts at Atskuri guard
station and heads up to the Amarati Mount. At first day we’ll climb 900 m. in about
16 km. When we reach the Amarati mountain hut we take a well-earned break to
enjoy the views and refresh ourselves, We can overnight in tourist shelter or tents.
Next day we’ll come across a trail junction with the St. Andrew Trail. We continue to
the right, where the trail is mostly downhill, descending again to the Atskuri Ranger
Station.
There are memorable views almost everywhere along this hike. One day you’ll look
back on your life and split it into its “before Panorama” and “after Panorama”
periods.
The price depends on the size of the group and the tour package. Please feel free
to contact us and plan your tailor made tour of the best panoramic views in
Georgia.
